RIGHT IS MIGHT…World Boxing Council heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder (41-0-1-40 Ko’s), dropped and stopped Dominic Breazeale (20-2). -0, 18 Ko’s) in round one at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
A massive thudding right hook from the champ drove Breazeale to the canvass. Although he got up, Referee Harvey Dock took one look at the wobbled, hobbled, dazed and stricken fighter and immediately stopped the fight at two minutes seventeen seconds. Another powerful blitzing victory for Deontay Wilder, his fortieth KO retaining his WBC Green and Gold Belt, dramatically proving he’s the best fighter in the heavyweight division.
