The beautiful city of St. Petersburg is confirmed as the next host for our fifty eighth World Boxing Council Convention.
Today this great city celebrates 75 years of being released from Nazi occupation. Delegations from about 50 countries and some 2,000 Holocaust survivors from around the world will pay tribute to the more than 1.1 million victims. St. Petersburg is one of the largest economic, cultural and scientific centers of Russia, Europe and the entire world. A combination of cultures and traditions that this year will become the venue for the annual convention of the World Boxing Council in its 58th chapter. This will take place from August 23 to 30. Very soon we will be providing a complete itinerary for this magnificent event, which promises to be unforgettable, because our hosts are diligently preparing a number of surprises. They’ve already begun to work on the organization and logistics of our Convention.
