World Boxing Council super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas revealed to ESPN that he`s signed with American company Premier Boxing Champions.
Rey aged 29 has built a 34-0 professional record with 22 knockouts. He conquered the WBC 122 pounds crown in February 2017 when he defeated Gavin McDonell. In 2019, he ended his contract with Golden Boy Promotions and Promociones del Pueblo. Rey has not fought since last July, when he defeated Japanese Tomoki Kameda in a veritable battle in California. In 2020, he said, there is still no date for his return but assured that he is motivated to move onwards and upward in his career. “It’s official, I signed with PBC, thank God everything happened. We are looking for the best fights. We will be back soon ”he told ESPN.
