Today in “El Africano”, famous disco-bar and night club in Kinshasa, within the heart of Republic of the Congo, the official weigh in of the fight between local lad Ilunga Makabu and The Pride of Poland Michal Cieslak, who`ll dispute the vacant cruiserweight title of the World Boxing Council.
This long-awaited combat between two veritable warriors lands tomorrow at the Shark Club in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and will be the first world title fight here in 45 years! Makabu has just won two important victories against Russian fighters Dmitry Kudryashov and Aleksei Papin. For his part, Cieslak, who remains pristine professional undefeated , comes from knocking out Nigerian Olanrewaju Durodola in three brief rounds. At the weigh in: Makabu 197.8 pounds.
